Project ScopeJDS was retained by Yamana to design and install 240 meters of ground support and manway installation in a previously excavated raisebore (robbins) at the mine. Due to the excavation method previously employed of raise bore JDS had to work from top down to install services, ground support and ladders employing a modified suspended staging.
JDS led the Construction Management team and supplied trained personnel to complete ground support and install the ladders in the boreholes.
The project was completed on time and on budget with no safety incidences.
