Project OverviewThe Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd.’s (Barkerville) Cariboo Gold Project is an underground gold mine located in the District of Wells and Cariboo Regional District in British Columbia. The project includes underground crushing, a Services Building containing a surface concentrator and paste backfill plant, a waste rock storage facility (WRSF), access roads, and associated mine infrastructure.

The project includes underground crushing, a Services Building containing a surface concentrator and paste backfill plant, a waste rock storage facility (WRSF), access roads, and associated mine infrastructure.
Project ScopeJDS mobilized a shotcrete crew and equipment on 5 days’ notice to Wells, BC to rehabilitate the main ramp and other priority headings where sloughing had occurred in faulted siltstone causing voids. JDS also completed two (2) ventilation door sprays during the campaign and assisted with services and
blasting in the area. JDS scope included providing a robotic Aliva 302 sprayboom with an Aliva 252
and pre-dampener, and 24/7 coverage miners who were integrated with the Owner’s staff and
other site contractors to complete the work. The duration of the contract was three (3) months.
