The purpose of the decline was to define the resource through the exploration phase to provide further information for a feasibility report.

Project ScopeJDS was commissioned to provide seconded client representatives for construction management of an exploration program as well as underground mining service for approximately 2.3 km of exploration drift development. The tunnel is a 4.5m x 4.5m access to lower drilling levels capable for expanding the proven resource. The underground services include utilization of a combination of expat and local miners using mechanized mining and conventional jackleg bolting. JDS worked with the community for local support with mining as well as equipment supply where able and provided the required underground equipment for the remainder of the project.
