At JDS, how we close our mines is just as important as how we build and operate them.

We are proud to support and partner with the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun and Yukon Seed and Restoration (a Na-Cho Nyak Dun Development Corporation company) on their #reclamation and #restoration program, with lessons on plant ecology and seed harvesting.

June 21st was the 26th anniversary of National Indigenous Peoples Day.

🎉 Welcome Austin McConnell to JDS! 🎉

Austin will be joining Cariboo and take over the role of President of Cariboo Rail.

Austin’s experience in Engineering and Transportation across CN (both US and Canada) has allowed him to play an active role in the implementation of many industry firsts and large-scale projects. He brings a diverse background in rail engineering and operations to Cariboo Rail, and strong relationships within the industry. We are very excited about having Austin join the team, please give him a warm welcome!
