A Message From the CFO

My first day on the job, as a Financial Analyst, was spent flying to Mexico to assist with the opening of JDS’ Hermosillo office. After spending a few weeks getting to know the Mercedes Mine Project team, I distinctly remember saying to myself on the flight home, “This is the company for me!”​

Today, as CFO of The JDS Group of Companies, I am responsible for leading the dynamic Finance and Accounting teams out of our Kelowna, B.C. offices. With over a decade of experience at JDS, I continue to take pride working alongside some of the most entrepreneurial problem solvers and leaders in our industries.  Each of these professionals working on JDS-led projects share a passion for working together to deliver the best results for our customers – on time, without harm, and on (or below) budget.​

JDS is diverse by design; we are builders, financiers, promoters,​
hard rock miners, oil and gas folk, environmentalists, safety leaders, railroaders, explorers, tradespeople, operators, and students who are committed to action.  And everyone is a producer.​
